Halls available via purchase

Clan Halls can be purchased by clan leaders whose clans are level 2 or higher. Clan halls are available in the town of Dion (C Grade), the towns of Gludio, Gludin, and Schuttgart (B Grade), and the towns of Giran, Aden, Goddard, and Rune (A Grade). The six clan halls in the town of Aden also give clan leaders the ability to ride a Wyvern.

Each hall in Lineage 2 has its own name; for instance, the first house in Gludin Village has the name Gludin Crystal Hall

Buying Clan Halls

Clan leaders can only bid on one clan hall in an auction. When a clan leader places a bid on a clan hall, the bid amount of adena is taken from the clan's warehouse. Bids must be higher than the previous bid. Clan leaders cannot bid more than the amount of adena in the clan's warehouse.

The winner is the clan leader who offer the biggest amount of adena for a specific hall. If a clan is successful in purchasing a clan hall, the clan leader receives a message that they won. Any previous residents that are still in the hall are kicked out.

The bid amounts of the clan leaders who bid unsuccessfully are returned to their clan's warehouses.

Clan Hall maintenance

The clan that owns the clan hall must deposit usage fees in the clan warehouse, collected weekly. If the usage fees are not paid, the clan leader receives a message and is given a grace period of one week. If the usage fees are still not paid after that time, the clan hall is repossessed and put up for auction.

HP and MP can be regenerated within the clan hall for a fee.

A warehouse is available in the clan hall, and teleporters are available in the clan hall for members to travel to the village entrance and square. Teleporting to other areas requires a fee.

Clan Hall decoration

Players can add a variety of decorations and functions to their clan hall.

  1. Recovery decorations:
    • Fireplace: increases HP regeneration;
    • Carpet: increases MP regeneration;
    • Chandelier: when a character dies and returns to the clan hall, a certain % of experience is recovered.
  2. Other decorations:
    • Mirror: allows teleportation to nearby territories;
    • Curtains: offer a variety of buffs through a Clan Hall manager NPC;
    • Magic Machine: allows to produce different items in clan halls Grade B and higher.
  3. Decorative items:
    • Curtain, Foyer: Do not have any specific functions; just make your clan hall more beautiful.

Selling Clan Halls

Clan leaders may put their clan hall up for auction through the Auctioneer. Auction periods can be set for seven days, three days, or one day. Clan leaders can write a simple description of the clan hall they wish to auction and must pay a deposit to put their clan hall up for auction.

The clan leader can cancel the auction during the set time, but the deposit is not returned and they cannot set up another auction for seven days.

When a clan hall does not have an owner, or has not been maintained sufficiently, it will be set up automatically for a seven-day auction period.

If the clan breaks up before the end of an auction period for their clan hall, the auction will continue, but the proceeds and deposit from selling the clan hall cannot be received.

If no clan participates in an auction, the clan hall is returned to the owners, but their deposit is not returned.

If a clan successfully sells a clan hall, the clan leader will receive a message. The highest bid, minus taxes, is placed in the selling clan's warehouse, along with the deposit.

Contestable Halls

Some clan halls come into players’ possession only once they're conquered. Just like clan halls available via purchase, they are used for making items, teleportation, casting auras etc.

Fortress of Resistance

To conquer this hall, a clan need to defeat Bloody Lord Nurka who owns the Fortress of Resistance. You can catch him off-guard when it’s night in the game.

Bandit Stronghold

To become eligible to fight for Bandit Stronghold, a leader of a clan level 4 or higher needs to complete a special quest during the specified timeframe given before the conquest. One 5 clans which have completed the quest the fastest are eligible to take part on the battle. The amount of the attacking players from each clan is also limited – no more than 18 players.

If a leader decides to attack Bandit Stronghold, they need to enroll 18 clan members and choose the NPC to protect. The clan which owns this hall at the moment needs to enroll 18 defending players.

The date and time of the upcoming battle can be confirmed with a special NPC located outside the stronghold.

The eligible clans need to destroy the NPCs protected by their opponents and to protect their NPC at the same time. At the beginning of the battle each team has their own base (each clan’s base has its own colour). Each clan needs to wait for the battle start at their base. The battle starts when the NPC to protect appears (a separate NPC for each clan). All of them start moving towards the centre of the battlefield to fight each other.

Such type of battle is called ‘everyone for themselves’ and last for a specified period of time. If the NPC to protect dies, the clan whose duty was to defend that NPC is immediately teleported to the outside of the stronghold. The team which has managed to defend their NPC, wins.

If the time limit (20 minutes) is over, but there are still 2 or more NPCs in the hall, all the participants of the battle are teleported to the outside of the stronghold, and the winner is the clan which owns the hall at the moment. All players which have not been enrolled and happened to appear at the battle field by chance are also teleported by force.

The clan owning the hall needs to wait for the end of the battle inside their hall.

When the battle is over, the defenders and the surviving team of the attackers are to fight each other in the middle of the stronghold. The rules of this second battle are the same as the previous one, however there’s no time limit. If no one owns Bandit Stronghold, there’s no second battle. The winner is the team which has managed to protect their NPC by the end of the first battle.

Devastated Castle

The Devastated Castle is the hall belonging to mobs. It can be conquered only by the means of siege. The siege time is defined each week. It's different from other castle sieges. The battle for the Devastated Castle is always a battle against mobs, so the winners an use this hall for just a week, then it’s handed over to mobs again.

The clan which wants to get this hall need to be enrolled for the siege. Only the clans which level is 4 or higher are eligible for the battle. The amount of the attacking players is unlimited. The cans which already have halls cannot take part in the siege. The clan which owns the Devastated Castle during the week, is enrolled for the battle automatically and needs to confirm the request 2 hours before the siege. The clans which ant to take part in this event cannot take part in any other castle/hall sieges if they are planned for the same time.

When the Devastated Castle siege starts, all the territory around becomes a battlefield, and the players who hasn’t left it in advance are automatically teleported to the outside. The leaders of the enrolled clans can set up their own bases. The siege rules are the same as for other castles. The only exceptions is that the attackers fight mobs. Please note that is the clan base is destroyed or a player which hasn’t been enrolled enters the battlefield – then after death it will not be resurrected in the second closest township.

The siege lasts for about an hour. The winner is the clan which has contributed the most to defeating the lord of the Devastated Castle. When the lord dies, the battle is over. If during this hour no one has managed to kill the lord, the lord keeps on owning the castle.

Wild Beast Reserve

Wild Beast Reserve is located to the north of Beast Farm. The siege process is the same as for Bandit Stronghold. Only clans level 4 or higher are eligible for the battle.

Only five clans can fight for Wild Beast Reserve. They need to complete A Grand Plan for Taming Wild Beast quest and talk a messenger NPC to enter the territory.

A Grand Plan for Taming Wild Beast quest needs to be completed 1 hour before the battle.

Those clan members who want to take part in the battle need to enroll for it at a messenger NPC – 18 players from each clan.

If a character dies, they get resurrected at the resurrection point and need to go back to the battlefield via Gatekeepers.

Wild Beast Reserve has special animals which are easier to tame than the ones dwelling in Beast Farm.

Fortress of the Dead

Fortress of the Dead is located to the southeast of Rune and the siege process is the same as for the Devastated Castle. It’s the most prestigious clan hall – and it’s most difficult to conquer.

Only clans level 4 or higher are eligible for the battle.

The clans need to enroll for the siege 2 hour before it starts (talk to the NPC located outside the fortress).

The rules are the same as for the Devastated Castle The siege lasts for 1 hour. The winner is the clan who's contributed the most to defeating Lady of the Fortress of the Dead Lidia von Hellmann. It’s much easier to conquer the castle if first of all you take care of Lidia’s minions - Alfred von Hellmann and Giselle von Hellmann.

If Lidia von Hellmann dies, the siege is over. If no one has managed to kill her, the fortress is owned by mobs until the next siege.

The clan owning the fortress during the week is enrolled for the siege automatically.

The leader of the clan which owns this hall can ride a wyvern.

Rainbow Springs Chateau

Rainbow Springs Chateau is located to the north of the Hot Springs. Conqest of this hall is absolutely different from what you’ve seen before – there are no equivalents in the world of Lineage 2 to this event.

To conquer this place, you need to play a funny game. Only clans level 3 or higher are eligible for the event. Only 4 clans can compete for taking this hall. The participants need to have 5 or more players in a party.

How to join

A clan leader in possession of a Rainbow Springs Clan Hall War Decree may register to participate through a messenger NPC up to one hour before the contest begins. The top four clans, owning the highest number of Rainbow Springs Clan Hall War Decrees amongst them, will be chosen to compete and their clan leaders notified through a system message.

Rainbow Springs Clan Hall War Decrees may be obtained by fishing in the Hot Springs area of Goddard. However, a player must use Hot Springs Bait for fishing bait.

If a participating clan requests to cancel in the middle of a siege war registration period, the siege war participation registration is automatically cancelled.

However, the certificates are not returned at this time. A participating clan may cancel its participation up until the end of the registration period. If this happens, the clan will only get back half of their submitted certificates.

The clan that owns the Rainbow Springs Chateau is automatically registered for the next contest. In this case, the top three clans, owning the highest number of Rainbow Springs Clan Hall War Decrees amongst them, will be chosen to compete.

How to play

A Rainbow Springs Chateau siege war is held at the east arena of Rainbow Springs.

After clans are selected to compete, the contest is comprised of a one-hour waiting period, a contest time of 58 minutes, and an end time of two minutes.

Registered clans must organize one party with five or more members, with their clan leader as the party leader. The party must move to the arena before the siege war starts and enter the arena through the Caretaker NPC. The surrounding area of the arena is a Peaceful Zone.

Participating clans enter into different game fields respectively and through the Caretaker. If a character who is not a party member enters, the clan will not be allowed to enter into the arena.

Upon entering the arena, all buffs that are active on all participating characters will be removed, and summoned pet/servitors will disappear and cannot be summoned back into the arena.

Once the contest begins, a Hot Springs Yeti NPC and a Hot Springs Gaurd NPC appear in the center of the arena and treasure chests appear randomly throughout the arena.

The Hot Springs Yeti announces the game rules and helps guide the players.

All of the Hot Springs Yeti’s shouts may be collected and then exchanged for various Hot Springs items. Text exchange or Hot Springs item use is only available to the clan leader and clan members.

Participants can break the spawned treasure chests in the arena and can acquire text passages. Text items cannot be exchanged; therefore to give them to other characters, they should be dropped first and then picked up.

Treasure Chests can only be damaged with your bare hands, however Mimics can be attacked with P. Atk and M. Atk.

When using Hot Springs Nectar, an Enraged Yeti spawns at certain intervals and interrupts the game. The Enraged Yeti can be attacked with P. Atk. and M. Atk.

The Hot Springs items may be used when the Hot Springs Yeti is a target, and they can reduce the HP of the gourd, cast debuff on other teams, change the gourd, or recover.

The team that first destroys the Hot Springs Gourd wins the game. All the participants are then teleported outside of the arena after a 2-minute delay.

At the end of the game, a manager NPC appears and cleans the arena by picking up all the item drops.

The game continues even if the server goes offline in the middle of the mini-game.
